JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Our client is urgently looking for the qualified Psychologist to start working ASAP. Faircape requires the services of reputable Psychologist. You may apply before deadline in case you are interested and have required qualifications as short-listed below.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The applicant wishing to apply for this job must meet the following qualifications;
- Must have current, valid registration with the HPCSA as a Psychologist
- Registration category must be Clinical Psychologist, Counselling Psychologist, or Neuropsychologist.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
The applicant must have the following skills and competences
- Must have 2–5 years’ experience working as an independent or associate practitioner
- Must have experience working within healthcare or medical settings.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will have to implement the following duties but not limited to:
- To provide psychological assessment, diagnosis, formulation, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions for in-patients with medical healthcare conditions
- To deliver individual and family psychotherapy, as well as psychoeducation, tailored to patients’ clinical and rehabilitation needs
- To work closely within a multidisciplinary team, actively participating in MDT meetings to support holistic patient care
- To consult and collaborate with medical, nursing, therapy, and allied healthcare professionals
- To maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including progress notes, discharge summaries, and reports
- To manage administrative responsibilities efficiently, including billing and compliance with relevant healthcare and practice systems.
