JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Our client is urgently looking for the qualified Pest Control Assistant to start working ASAP. , Tsebo Solutions Group requires the services of reputable Pest Control Assistant. You may apply before deadline in case you are interested and have required qualifications as short-listed below.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The applicant wishing to apply for this job must meet the following qualifications;
- Must have Grade 11 minimum with proven experience.
- Must have knowledge of legislation relevant to the Pest control and Fumigation industry
- Must have clear/Certified pre-employment medical examination.
- Must have minimum 1 – 2 years pest control and Fumigation experience.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
The applicant must have the following skills and competences
- Must have good communication skills.
- Must have knowledge of facility layout.
- Must have knowledge of cleaning products and applications.
- Must have ability to use a variety of cleaning/hygiene equipment and products.
- Must have basic literacy and communication skills.
- Must have understanding of departmental policies and procedures.
- Must have willingness to extended hours including overtime, weekends and public holidays.
- Must be comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will have to implement the following duties but not limited to:
- To prepare fumigation areas by sealing, covering, and clearing spaces as instructed.
- To assist with the setup and dismantling of fumigation equipment.
- To assist with aeration and ventilation of treated areas after fumigation.
- To monitor treated areas for re-entry readiness as directed.
- Always follow fumigation safety procedures strictly.
- To use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) correctly and consistently.
- To assist with warning signage, barricading, and access control during fumigation.
- To ensure safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies are adhered to.
- To report unsafe conditions, leaks, spills, or incidents immediately.
- To maintain a professional and respectful presence on client premises.
- To assist with site preparation and post-fumigation clearance as instructed.
