JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Our client is urgently looking for the qualified Carer to start working ASAP. Faircape requires the services of reputable Carer. You may apply before deadline in case you are interested and have required qualifications as short-listed below.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The applicant wishing to apply for this job must meet the following qualifications;
- Must have proven experience as a Carer or experience in a similar environment
- Must have knowledge of caring principles in caring for the aged.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
The applicant must have the following skills and competences
- Must be compassionate, empathetic and to genuinely care about and understand the feelings of residents, showing kindness and concern in all interactions.
- Must be adaptable to changes within the role as needed.
- Must maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
- Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must have ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Responsible and accountable.
- Must have exhibit patience and understanding.
- Mus have ability to demonstrate professional etiquette.
- Must have physical stamina and strength.
- Must have ability to follow instructions and protocols accurately
- Must have willing to continuously learn and improve caregiving skills.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will have to implement the following duties but not limited to:
- Assisting residents with their daily living activities in accordance with the individualized care plan.
- To offer companionship, emotional support and participate in the following daily activities.
- All activities with residents are to be charted on our electronic system, Healthware, using the provided company cellphone.
- Should there be any changes or causes of concern in a resident’s condition, you are to promptly report this to your senior.
