JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Our client is urgently looking for the qualified Brewery Controller to start working ASAP. South African Breweries requires the services of reputable Brewery Controller. You may apply before deadline in case you are interested and have required qualifications as short-listed below.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The applicant wishing to apply for this job must meet the following qualifications;
- Must have Bachelor or Masters in Business, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering or CA
- Must have 2 to 3 + years, in industry context
- Must have knowledge of SAP/Syspro, Business Warehouse, Anaplan is a plus
- Must have previous controlling experience.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
The applicant must have the following skills and competences
- Must have working knowledge of accounting
- Must have strong leadership skills
- Must have good communicator and the ability to work with financial and non-financial collaborators
- Must have good analytical skills
- Must have ability to synthesize complex issues into actionable activities
- Must have capacity to anticipate future trends and developments.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will have to implement the following duties but not limited to:
- To serve as the first line of defense and oversee the execution of controls as defined by Internal Control
- Ensuring that the brewery’s assigned controls accurately reflect the reality of the processes. This includes reviewing the PR-GR cycle, co-product lifecycle, and returnable package managemen
- To oversee both internal and external tax reporting for the plant. Work closely with the tax team to ensure timely completion of tax filings, respond to inquiries, and meet tax inspection requirements mandated by the local authority
- To support brewery operations, Zone Financial Planning and PPM teams on the forecast by providing inputs for LE & 1 YP.
