JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Our client is urgently looking for the qualified Waiter/Waitress to start working ASAP. Fedics requires the services of reputable Waiter/Waitress. You may apply before deadline in case you are interested and have required qualifications as short-listed below.

The applicant must have the following skills and competences
- Must have proven work experience as a Waiter or Waitress
- Must have attentiveness and patience for customers
- Must have excellent presentation skills
- Must have strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
- Must have active listening and effective communication skills
- Team spirit
- Must have flexibility to work in shifts.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will have to implement the following duties but not limited to:
- To greet and escort customers to their tables
- To present menu and provide detailed information when asked (e.g. about portions, ingredients or potential food allergies)
- To prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware and glasses
- To inform customers about the day’s specials
- To offer menu recommendations upon request
- Up-sell additional products when appropriate
- To take accurate food and drinks orders
- To communicate order details to the Kitchen Staff
- To serve food and drink orders
- To check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation and report any problems
- To arrange table settings and maintain a tidy dining area
- To deliver checks and collect bill payments
- To carry dirty plates, glasses and silverware to kitchen for cleaning
- To meet with restaurant staff to review daily specials, changes on the menu and service specifications for reservations (e.g. parties)
- To follow all relevant health department regulations
- To provide excellent customer service to guests.
