JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Our client is urgently looking for the qualified Casual Front Shop Assistant to start working ASAP. Dis-Chem Pharmacies Limited requires the services of reputable Casual Front Shop Assistant. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The applicant wishing to apply for this job must meet the following qualifications;
- Must have Grade 12 / Matric
- Must have a minimum of 6 months Retail work experience.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
The applicant must have the following skills and competences
- Must be trustworthy and honest.
- Must have Client Service
- Must have interpersonal Relations, Interpersonal Awareness, Thoroughness, Organization Sensitivity and Identification with Management
- Must have cooperation and Customer Orientation.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will have to implement the following duties but not limited to:
- To restock the merchandise appropriately when needed to ensure maximum sales
- To ensure delivered stock and/ or stock pulled from the storeroom are stored and packed in the correct space immediately
- To maintain the stock on the shelves to ensure it has not reached its sell by date and apply FIFO principle
- To ensure that full ranges of products are on the shelves at all times
- To facilitate rotation of stock on a regular basis and adhere to The Local Choice Corporate Stores stock control procedures
- To keep the storeroom organized, neat and tidy
- To report low stock levels, items that are out of stock, damaged stock and expired stock to management
- To ensure stock is rotated on a continual, first in first out basis
- To assist with the cycle counts and general stocktaking.
