JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Our client is urgently looking for the qualified General Worker to start working ASAP. VKB Group requires the services of reputable General Worker. You may apply before deadline in case you are interested and have required qualifications as short-listed below.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The applicant wishing to apply for this job must meet the following qualifications;
- Must have Matric
- Must have 2 years’ experience in an agricultural setting.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
The applicant must have the following skills and competences
- Must be able to work shifts.
- Must be able to work overtime to meet business requirements.
- Must be team player.
- Must have good communication skills.
- Maintaining a professional attitude and appearance.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will have to implement the following duties but not limited to:
- To ensure the House keeping is in order before the shift starts and at the end of the shift.
- To ensure daily documentation required is printed and available.
- To ensure handovers are done and communicated between shifts.
- To perform a daily stock count at the start of each morning shift before any process commences
- To move pallets into the Warehouse storeroom.
- To scan pallet label into the applicable allocated bin.
- To verify that the correct pallet number is picked according to Pallet Barcode.
- To move picked pallets to the loading area, keeping pallets per load together.
- To ensure integrity of the product before loading, verifying the following: Right product and quantity.
- To perform all quality checks on final product upon receiving, during storing process and loading of vehicles.
- Completing of daily control sheets and registers as applicable for the job function..
