JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Our client is urgently looking for the qualified Armed Response Officer to start working ASAP. TSU requires the services of reputable Armed Response Officer. You may apply before deadline in case you are interested and have required qualifications as short-listed below.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The applicant wishing to apply for this job must meet the following qualifications;
- Must have Grade C – Psira registered and up to date
- Must have Grade 12
- Must have valid Driver’s license.
- Must have firearm Competency – Handgun, Shotgun and Carbine Rifle (Business Purpose)
- Must have armed Response Certificate
- Must have statement of Results for firearms training received (SASSETA/PFTC)
- Must have experience working as an Armed Response Officer.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
The applicant must have the following skills and competences
- Must be have excellent verbal and written communication.
- Must be neat and Presentable
- Must have no Criminal Record.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will have to implement the following duties but not limited to:
- To ensure quick and appropriate response to client’s emergency calls
- To ensure visibility at standoff pints and during area patrols
- To ensure clients complaints are handled efficiently
- To ensure that the disciplinary code is adhered to at all times
- To ensure the safety of clients by checking premises thoroughly
- High standard of service must be upheld
- Expert knowledge about all facets pertaining to your position
- To attend to all meetings and training sessions
- To keep vehicle neat and tidy at all times
- To assist with any problems or complaints.
