JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Our client is urgently looking for the qualified Training Officer to start working ASAP. Bidvest Prestige requires the services of reputable Training Officer. You may apply before deadline in case you are interested and have required qualifications as short-listed below.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The applicant wishing to apply for this job must meet the following qualifications;
- Must have Tertiary qualification in Food Science/Food Technology, Training, Quality, Food Safety, or related field.
- Having assessor / Facilitator or equivalent training certification will be advantageous.
- Must have minimum 5 years’ experience in training, compliance, or quality within the food industry or cleaning/hygiene environment.
- Must have proven experience with Food Safety and Hygiene.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
The applicant must have the following skills and competences
- Must have OHS legislation
- Must have knowledge of Food safety and quality management systems
- Must have knowledge of risk management and hazard analysis
- Environmental compliance requirements
- Must have strong documentation and SOP drafting skills.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will have to implement the following duties but not limited to:
- To manage the operational training and development of personnel across food safety, hygiene, HACCP, health & safety, environmental compliance, quality, and customer service.
- To conduct induction, refresher, and task-specific training for all employees and contractors.
- To facilitate training methods and coaching for supervisors and operational leaders.
- Assess employee training needs through risk assessments, audits, inspections, incidents, and performance evaluations.
- To align all training programs with organizational goals, customer requirements, and regulatory standards.
- To ensure training supports sustainable operational performance and compliance.
