JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Our client is urgently looking for the qualified Warehouse Supervisor to start working ASAP. South African Breweries requires the services of reputable Warehouse Supervisor. You may apply before deadline in case you are interested and have required qualifications as short-listed below.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The applicant wishing to apply for this job must meet the following qualifications;
- Having 3 year diploma highly advantageous
- Having 3+ years Warehouse and or logistics experience advantageous
- SAP proficient.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
The applicant must have the following skills and competences
- Must have highly level computer user
- Must have good interpersonal skills / builds good relationships
- Must have ability to work under pressure
- Must have superior planning ability.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will have to implement the following duties but not limited to:
- To ensure implementation and compliance of VPO and DPO Excellence Program
- To ensure all areas of the Warehouse have Territorial Safety Ownership within Logistics Operation and ensure area owners are aligned to VPO requirements
- To ensure OWD plans are set out and are dynamic to deal with current Safety Concerns and Operational Requirements in the Logistics Operation and monitor execution of these plans
- To ensure that Department of Labour Stacking Exemptions are complied with and Warehouse Density/Capacity is maximised within legal requirements
- To ensure all Safety Incidents and SIF incidents are investigated to identify route cause and actions developed to prevent from happening again
- To enhance people capability.
