JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Our client is urgently looking for the qualified Cleaner to start working ASAP. Tsebo requires the services of reputable Cleaner. You may apply before deadline in case you are interested and have required qualifications as short-listed below.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The applicant wishing to apply for this job must meet the following qualifications;
- Must have Grade 11 minimum with proven experience.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
The applicant must have the following skills and competences
- Must have good communication skills.
- Must have basic knowledge of general hygiene practices
- Must have knowledge of facility layout
- Must have knowledge of cleaning products and applications
- Must have ability to use a variety of cleaning equipment and products.
- Must have basic literacy and communication skills
- Must have understanding of departmental policies and procedures
- Must have willingness to extended hours including overtime, weekends and public holidays.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will have to implement the following duties but not limited to:
- To proper cleaning of toilets, equipment, offices, state property and assets
- To ensure effective use of cleaning materials and equipment.
- To clean the Reception area and offices on a daily basis.
- To empty office dustbins daily and dispose of all refuse appropriately in the refuse bins for collection.
- To collect paper waste in the specially marked bins for collection by the Recycling Company
- To check bathrooms twice a day and clean accordingly.
- To dust office furniture timeously
- To vacuum all carpets at least twice per week.
- To clean windows on the inside at least quarterly on a rotational basis
- To store all cleaning equipment and products neatly in the designated cupboards on each floor.
- To provide assistance in the preparation of meetings in the boardroom.
